Parmer County Jail Roster
The official roster channel is the Parmer County Jail DCN portal linked from the Parmer County Sheriff page. That page identifies Eric Geske as sheriff, labels the roster link Current Inmates, and routes readers to jail-service pages. The roster page itself is titled Parmer County Jail. It is free to view, and the research did not find a login or search fee. The portal has a noindex meta tag, but it is still the county-linked roster because it is the direct current-inmates link from the sheriff's office.
Parmer County inmate records on the roster are current-custody records. They are useful for local pretrial detainees, county jail commitments, bench-warrant detainees, and some people waiting for transfer. They do not show every person sentenced to state prison, every federal detainee, or every immigration detainee. If the roster fails, use the jail phone number, the open-records request form, TDCJ, VINELink, BOP, or ICE depending on the custody path.
Search Parmer County Inmate Records
The roster landing page has three main search paths: By name, By charge description, and Over the last number of days. The all-inmates grid also has filter boxes, grouping, paging, and visible columns for Full Name, Age, Race, Sex, and Admit Date. The charge grid can help when the person searching knows an offense phrase but not the spelling of a name.
- Open the official sheriff page and select Current Inmates, or open the Parmer County Jail roster directly.
- Use the By name search for a known person. Type at least two characters to trigger the name autocomplete described in the research.
- Use View all inmates to browse the grid. Filter under Full Name, Age, Race, Sex, or Admit Date.
- Use the By charge description search or View all charges when only a charge term is known.
- Use the recent-days search for a booking window, then confirm any unclear result by phone at 806-481-3303.
Parmer County Roster Search Fields
The roster's search fields are specific enough to preserve. The name autocomplete and charges autocomplete both begin after two characters, while the recent-days search uses a number input with a placeholder of 5. The charges grid is also a lookup tool because each charge description links back to matching inmates.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| InmatesSearchBox under By name | Text | Unspecified | Autocomplete begins after two characters and calls the inmate-name service. |
| InmatesSearchButton | Submit | n/a | Button label is Search. |
| InmatesLink | Link | n/a | View all inmates opens the /dcn/inmates grid. |
| ChargesSearchBox | Text | Unspecified | Autocomplete searches charge descriptions. |
| ChargesLink | Link | n/a | View all charges opens /dcn/charges. |
| DaysSearchBox | Number | Unspecified | Placeholder is 5 for recent bookings over a number of days. |
The Parmer County Jail charges grid shows charge descriptions and counts, then links back to matching inmates. The screenshot below shows that charge-search workflow.
That charge grid is useful when a family member hears only the charge type. It still requires care because a charge listed at booking may later change in court.
Parmer County Inmate Profile Fields
The top-level current-inmates grid shows basic identity and admission information. It avoids full dates of birth and street addresses in the captured view. The visible fields are enough for a first pass, but they do not answer every bond, release, court date, or housing question. Those details may require a phone call, records request, or court clerk search.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Full Name | The roster name in the current-inmates grid. |
| Age | Age shown as a public field instead of full birth date. |
| Race | Race code or text as the grid provides it. |
| Sex | Sex field as listed by the roster. |
| Admit Date | The jail admission date or date-time shown in the grid. |
| Detail expand control | A visible grid control that may open more detail, but not every expanded field was captured. |
| Mugshot | Not visible in the top-level grid capture, so online booking photos should not be promised. |
| Bond | Not visible in the top-level grid columns reviewed. |
Parmer County Jail vs Other Locators
Parmer County inmate records split by custody system. The county roster covers local jail custody. TDCJ covers sentenced Texas prisoners after state transfer. BOP covers federal sentenced and many former federal inmates. ICE ODLS covers immigration detention. VINELink is a notification channel, not a replacement for the county roster.
| Custody | Where to Look | What It Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Parmer County jail custody | Parmer County Jail roster | Current local inmates, charge search, recent-days search. |
| Sentenced Texas prison | TDCJ Inmate Search | State prisoners after transfer from county jail. |
| Custody notification | Texas VINELink | Release or transfer notifications where available. |
| Federal sentenced custody | BOP Inmate Locator | Federal sentenced and many former BOP inmates. |
| Immigration detention | ICE Online Detainee Locator | ICE detainees by A-Number/country or biographical search. |

Booking Records in Parmer County
A local arrest normally moves from the arresting officer to transport, intake, identification, property handling, classification, and a roster entry if the person is currently held. Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 15.17 requires an arrested person to be taken before a magistrate without unnecessary delay. That magistrate event is different from the jail roster. The roster is a custody record, while the court case begins when charges are filed and tracked by the clerk.
The county research did not find an official claim about how fast a new booking appears online. Do not assume a fixed update interval. If a person was just arrested and does not appear on the roster, call 806-481-3303. If a booking record, incident report, or older jail record is needed, use the Parmer County open-records request form linked from the sheriff page.
Booking records should also be read with the charge grid in mind. The Parmer charges page lists charge descriptions and counts, then links those descriptions back to matching inmates. That can reveal a custody match even when a name search is misspelled or incomplete. It still does not prove the final court charge, since the prosecutor can file a different complaint, information, or indictment after reviewing the arrest.
Parmer County Jail Visitation
The official visitation page gives days and core rules, but not exact hour blocks, dress code, or an ID checklist in the visible text. Visitors must be on the approved visitor list. Each inmate is allowed one 20-minute visit per visitation day. The page also states that no inmate shall be discriminated against regarding rights, including visitation.
